Caffeine Free Tea contains no caffeine since the beginning. Parts of herbs which being used to process to be tea, originally contain no caffeine.
Decaf Tea is another story. Originally the tea contain caffeine. Later the producer put them into decaffeination process to remove caffeine our of the tea. Unfortunately, there still left a minute amount of caffeine in the leaf. A tea labeled as “decaf” still contains 2.5% of its original caffeine level. So, there still caffeine in it.
